Cameo now supports membership types which all expire on the same day each year. Someone who joins part way through the year only gets a partial year’s membership. You can also arrange that they get an extended rather than limited membership if they join close to the renewal date. Read More…
Custom fields in the join form
You can now collect custom fields in the membership record using the join form. This uses the same method for adding additional fields as other forms (like questions or bookings).
To better match the types allowed for additional fields in forms with custom fields in membership records, the former now also offers (all of them both optional and mandatory):
* year
* whole number
* currency amount.
You can use these types anywhere additional form fields are offered, not just in the join form. Read More…
Additional interim transaction details
Interim transactions now include payment method name and payee account details (such as the last four digits of the credit card number they used)in the transaction description. When an interim transaction is reconciled with a real transaction (whether manually or automatically), its description is now appended to that of the real transaction, so this information is not lost. Confirm identity in updates and renew forms
When someone arrives at an updates or renew form using a personalised link (or, for the renewal form, securely identifies themselves with their qrcode), you can now opt to display a customizable paragraph which includes some of their membership details. This provides reassurance that we know who they are. Read More…
Preview forms
You can now preview a form to work as if embedded in a website. (This is analogous to previewing emails, and looks similar). New controls for this are just above the form in the form editor. This serves as a “halfway-house” between viewing a form in the form editor and embedding the form in your public website. Read More…

DMARC reports
(This article is aimed at people who know about DNS).
When you ask them to, email providers who receive your mailshots send you email information about email security: a DMARC report. You can now direct such DMARC reports to Cameo.
Administrators (only) can then find them, as attachments, at the end of profile → incoming email.
Google will require DMARC to be active for senders of bulk email from February 2024. Read More…
