I am considering splitting contacts into two separate categories to make the distinction between people we add and people who sign up to keep in touch. If you have any comments to make on this, please do share them. Read More…
Sending email to event attendees
Sending emails to people who booked for an event is easier with a new button in the Reservations, Bookings and Attendance section on the Events menu . This doesn’t add anything you couldn’t do manually before, but it brings several steps together in one place.
To send email to event attendees, you need a list which selects them and a template which has that list as its audience. The email attendees button at the end of the Reservations section makes both for you in one go. Read More…
Which automatic lists is someone in?
There is now a link “(+ auto)” at the end of the Lists line for each individual in a membership record that shows you all the automatic lists whose selection criteria would include that individual. Read More…
Reminder of pending email and letters
A new “un-sent items” panel at the top of the Cameo page now highlights pending emails and letters that you produce (by Merge to Pending in the Templates section, or as a side effect of some other operation, like enrolment of new members). Read More…
Re-send email
It is now possible to re-send an email if it fails to send, later bounces back, or if the recipient has lost it. Re-send can also replace recipient email address(es) if amended since the email was originally sent. Read More…

People who use the personalised opt-out form often actually want to terminate their membership. Therefore the form can now offer that option. Also, you can now offer the visitor the option to exercise their GDPR right to delete all data held about them. Read More…
Tags update
Tags in items which offer them to help categorise and filter (reminder messages, file store files, templates and lists) now have a common implementation and presentation style, making things more consistent. To accommodate this in File Store, the presentation of files has been brought into line with other sets of things, with a click on a summary line revealing detail. Read More…
Short-cuts for events
There’s a few additions to make it easier to create and move between events, their venues and price plans and also to register and check in someone simultaneously at an event.
Adding one-off events has moved to be a form accessed from the add one-off event button in the events section. (All the functionality remains the same.) Read More…

The contactus form type now offers (a) an optional one-line subject field, along with the option to substitute what the visitor enters for it in either subject or message body of the posted message, and (b) optional substitution in subject or message body of the name of the form, and the URL of web page in which it is embedded Read More…
