Email delivery and bounces

When set up to do so, Cameo now automatically responds to bounced email (when the recipient’s mail server rejects an email). Using this, Cameo no longer needs Mailgun to deliver mail-shots. Sending email to event attendees

Sending emails to people who booked for an event is easier with a new button in the Reservations, Bookings and Attendance section on the Events menu . This doesn’t add anything you couldn’t do manually before, but it brings several steps together in one place.

To send email to event attendees, you need a list which selects them and a template which has that list as its audience. The email attendees button at the end of the Reservations section makes both for you in one go. Read More…

Re-send email

It is now possible to re-send an email if it fails to send, later bounces back, or if the recipient has lost it. Look for the Resend Email button in the Past Communications and Change History section on the Member Info menu (or just History at the bottom of each membership record).
