A new source for automatic lists, and therefore as an audience for templates, is available: current postal only, which finds those who can’t be contacted at all by email. This selects all current memberships (not contacts, new or old):
- who have no email addresses
- where delivery method is set to Post or Hand (and therefore not Uncontactable or Web)
- who have a complete postal address (address line 1 and city are not empty; and therefore not just postcode)
For obvious reasons, this would only be suitable as the basis for a template which generates letters (or labels etc), not emails (though it could be used in combination with other lists which produce email with a letter fallback).
Note this is different from people who choose to have a postal delivery but do have an email address.
