Where a contact offers a discount to members (for which there was always a tick box, which can optionally be displayed for a contact type), you can now say alongside the tick box what the details are: “10% off all cakes with a valid membership card” for example.

This information feeds into the API endpoint “shopdiscounts” as a string in the new discountdetails field, which means it can be used to automatically collate and display the additional information from Cameo on a public web page.

As well as indicating a discount is offered, you can now say what that is
Any contact type can show the discount fields: just select it in the fields to be shown in the definition of the contact type (this hasn’t changed).
