Cameo now supports online payments through SumUp. You can select it both as a payment processor in organisation settings → payment methods (and therefore in forms) and for bank account transactions import in organisation settings → bank accounts.

SumUp provides card payment processing. Online, it is very similar to Stripe. Unlike Stripe, however, it also provides in-person card machines. And unlike Zettle, it provides the API needed for online payments in Cameo.

At the time of writing, they charge 2.5% for online transactions. That is more expensive than Stripe, if your median payment is over £30, because of Stripe’s fixed 30p flat charge per transaction plus 1.5%. It may be convenient to have both kinds of card payments processed through the same provider, though.

Cameo’s support for SumUp does not currently include recurring payments or in-person card machine payments. It could do so if there is interest in either. For event booking and merchandise, Cameo’s usual 1% fee applies.
